Veronica’s teaching style focuses on inner body awareness. Using an intuitive and motivational approach she helps students to develop an attitude of self-exploration and an understanding of the body-mind connection.

About the Site

  • The website was a new build: templates, stylesheets, MySQL database and the admin panel were written from scratch.
  • The website is driven by a MySQL database that stores all details of , artists and artworks. A custom PHP CMS allows the client to update relevant sections of the website.
  • Javascript/Ajax is used when booking a yoga workshop. It is also used in the admin panel to make adding/removing tutors and workshop dates easier.
  • To avoid additional spam, contact email addresses don't appear directly on the site. Instead, users may complete a form and the results are emailed to the site owner who simply responds to the email address provided (similar to the contact form on my own contact page). From this point, both parties correspond as normal.
  • The template is very light-weight: all the images used, including logos, take up just 15kb. The rest of the design is specified in a (3kb) style sheet of just 120 lines. These small sizes means the site loads quickly for all users, even those still on dialup.
